How do I check that my trust settings are correct, accurate or not manipulated?

How to stop constant 'trust device?' nagging? As I understand it, when connecting a device like iPhone or iPad, it's only supposed to ask you ONE TIME if you want to 'trust' that device (whatever that means), and if you connect that device again, it's not supposed to *ask* you again. That's what Apple's support page says, anyway. But I get this message *every single time* I connect any of my devices. Phone, Pad, Pod, it doesn't matter. I hit Trust, but the next time I connect that same device IT ASKS ME AGAIN. It's getting very annoying and I'd like it to stop. So how do I go about doing that?

Trust Store Trust Certifictes Trust Version I never noticed the trust certificates with any numbers in the two areas. I’ve been having weird things happen with my phones and now I noticed in my iPhone 13 these numbers I’m not saying that it isn’t correct just wondering what this is about.

How many trust settings are there for software 15.4.1 version ? I have software version 15.6 and my husband has 15.4 and my son has 15.5 and we all have always had 17 certificate trust settings is this normal ? Even after updates ?
