Auto Lock not working in camera

It seems like the auto-lock feature does not work in the camera app in iPhone lock screen. As a result, my phone gets really hot and my battery gets drained really fast, I cannot even switch on the flashlight. This has happened to me several times, and its becoming a major inconvenience, how do I fix this?

Basically, once you swipe right, the camera stays on until you swipe back. But with the sensitivity of the screen, it becomes super easy to accidentally swipe to the camera without knowing it. Then the camera drains the battery and you have a dead phone. Since there is no way of disabling the swipe right or the camera from the lockscreen without disabling the camera entirely, this becomes even worse. If I use the phone as an alarm, and accidentally touch the phone during the night, I wake up with a dead phone and no alarm. Please, is there a way of disabling the camera (or at least the swipe right) on the lockscreen without disabling it entirely?

Lock Screen on 14 pro How can you disable the camera and flashlight from ios14? My pocket is constantly hot from them being turned on! It’s really annoying when I pull my mobile out and the camera or flashlight is on.

Remove flashlight and camera buttons from lock screen How can I remove or edit the flashlight and camera from the lock screen on iphone 14? My phone keeps turning on the flashlight and/or camera when i put it in my pocket or hold the phone. It happens a lot and burns up the battery. This is a poor design.
