ICloud 2 TB of storage Plan

What if you are close 2 exceeding your 2 TB of storage? Apple doesn't offer anymore Storage Over 2 TB So what am I supposed to do When I hit the 2 TB mark. Will My ICloud Stop working? Would i be Offered More Storage? Or would I be forced to remove a part of my photo library to an external Hard drive?

Apple’s iCloud storage plans are limited to 2TB. When you reach the limit, you’ll not be able to store additional data - and synchronisation services may stop working.

In such circumstances you’ll need to consider moving some data to another Cloud storage provider - or external storage options such as USB storage or file server.

Thank You For your answer. If you work for apple you need to tell your boss That you are shooting yourselves in the foot by limiting the capacity to just 2 TB of storage..it’s not very accommodating. Not everyone needs that much storage space but there are some people like myself that need a bit more storage space Anyways Thank you for your time.
