My old iphone synced and copied all my stuff from my new phone

So I was trying to recover some old photos from my old iPhone and transfer it to my new phone that I’ve had for about a year now and I have new phones and messages on it. We’ll I forgot to do a Icloud back up on it and it told me to log into my iCloud in order for me to access current photos but once I input my iCloud my photos and messages from my new phone started to pop up on my old one and now all my photos are gone from my old phone. Is there a way to get them back, I need them asap!

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Unless you have a backup of your old phone on a computer, then sorry, but no, you will not have a means to recover them.
