How do I set up a new Macbook?

I just got a new 14" MacBook pro. I'm a video editor. What's the next step to pass all my stuff from my old 2014 MacBook pro to the new one? Do I manually transfer al my files and re-download all the softwares or there's a shortcut, for example via Time Machine?
