Kindle App for Iphone not working

Good Day

I have an IPhone 11 on IOS15.6.1 (the most up to date version at the momet) and now my Kindle App (version 6.64 also most up to date) will no longer work. I have tried switching the phone off and on, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and resetting the network settings but nothing is helping with the problem.
