My kindle app won’t open on iPhone 13 since 2 days ago when my UK network suppler had an outage , the outage is not fixed yet. I have tried switching phone off countless times nothing improves.
I do not want to uninstall app as I have a lot of content.

You download it as you access it. Any given book takes barely a couple of seconds to re-download. And, given you can't access any of the content now, it seems the logical thing to do.

All of your Kindle content is on Amazon's servers. If you uninstall the app and reinstall it, you can download everything again.

That seems very time consuming and laborious.
I realised I had also upgraded app earlier in the day to iOS15.5 but hadn’t opened it afterwards. It was only when I’d purchased content I found the app would not open .
Thank you, I’d been looking at that earlier. I omitted to say I’d updated the app on Tuesday to latest iOS15.5 & didn’t open it until I purchased content in the evening which was when I realised there was a problem.
The app was deleted & due to a delay I couldn’t get back to it , eventually it was reinstalled after another update , no content lost which I am extremely grateful for . Thank you .
