what should I do after I block a message should I delete it?
If I delete a message after I blocked it, will I continue to receive messages from that same number?

It should not and at least it does not on any of the three Apple Computers and one iPhone I have

If and only if that is correct - the current stable version of Big Sur is 11.6.8 and there was a Safari update released bringing it to Safari 15.6.1
