How to disable secure input

All of sudden today, Safari is not letting me use two of my apps because secure input is blocking them. I cannot find it in settings, and when I search for it online, the disabling process seems to be limited to specific applications. None of it makes sense to me. The two applications that are currently blocked are Text Expander and Sharemouse. Is there are relatively simple way to get rid of Secure Input?

I'm using MacOS 12.5.1 on an iMac.

Hello Hazel Greenberg,

You should be able to follow these steps found at Control access to input monitoring on Mac - Apple Support:

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy , then click Privacy.
2. Select Input Monitoring.
3. Select the checkbox next to an app to allow it to monitor your input devices.

Deselect the checkbox to turn off access for that app.

If you are not seeing the apps listed, then we suggest you restart the iMac. While simple, this can refresh the iOS, apps and connections.

Have a good day.
