Apple Care expired 45 Days ago, can I still extend
I inadvertently allowed my Apple Care plan to expire 45 days ago. Am I poop out of luck to extend the apple care?

You can try, but the period to extend is up to 30 days.

You need to contact AppleCare and ask them. Just in case you did not know, we are all end users just like you.
