do we have to install an antivirus software on Mac along the Windows 10 ?

since windows are more vulnerable to virus , do we have to install on our MAC book antivirus software with Boot Camp Assistant ? does it make our computer an easy target for malware?

No. Do not install any anti-virus software on your Mac.


When you are booted to the Boot Camp partition, only Windows 10 is running and infectable, no different than if it were a standalone Windows PC. The macOS drive partition is not exposed to Windows 10 in this configuration. Use the included Windows Defender, or your choice of A/V tool exclusively in Windows 10.
