Have heard the news that Apple Watch will not get updated to OS 9. Want to know whether the device will still be able to pair with future IOS Updates like 16-17-18? (Especially when they still sell it on their websites)

If you read my first post people are finding it very difficult to pair a watch3 to an ios15 phone so I couldn't really say what will happen with ios16 or higher.
It wouldn't be very wise to invest in a watch that will be classed as discontinued when ios16 is released.

But why are they still selling it on their website then? What will happen to people who buy the watch in September 2022? Will their watches only work for a month?
No they won't;
Their watch will still keep working,they just won't get any updates.
So Basically even if I have Watch 3, it will keep working with Future iOS like 16,17,18?
