My right AirPod doesn’t connect to my ear when the automatic ear detection is on, however it will work when it is off. How do I fix my problem?

How do I fix my AirPod when it doesn’t connect to my phone when the automatic ear detection is on, but it will when the feature is off.

Troubleshooting Automatic Ear Detection:

Try This:

  1. Go Here: If your AirPods won't Connect - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: If you can't Connect to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch
  3. Try what is shown.

Most Importantly, try: Resetting your AirPods - Apple Support
