Air Tag notification

Approximately 10 days ago, Shortly After flying back from a trip, I had an AirTag notification that showed me the tracking route on a map which started from the airport -to my home-to my kids’ school. The search for the AirTag (sound alert) was unsuccessful. The notification never came back and I don’t know how to bring it back to see if I am potentially still being tracked. Should I ignore that one time notification? It already wasted some of my time.
