I thought I lost my watch in a lake about 8 days ago but on Find my watch it says it’s at my house but it has to be dead because it hasn’t charged in over a week, anyway I can get a more updated version of finding out where my watch it?

The location that was shown in Find My would have been the last location where the Apple Watch was connected connected to Wi-Fi, cellular, or your paired iPhone. As mentioned in the page associated to your post, "If your Apple Watch is lost or stolen", if it has since lost power, you would not be able to get an updated location as it would not be connected to report an updated location.
