Check with 1Password? (There’s nothing posted over there about any issues.)
Their forum:
Here is what 1Password documents for this, on Mac, and on iOS and iPadOS:
https://support.1password.com/getting-started-mac/
https://support.1password.com/getting-started-safari-ios/
Here is the Mac extension: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/1password-for-safari/id1569813296?mt=12
As is indicated over there: STILL NEED HELP? If this article didn't answer your question, contact 1Password Support.

I understand that much. The question went to Apple as a result of it just "going away" in the App Store.
Another "hide our cards" moment in the decision process that has plagues the App Store since it's inception? If not, it seems that way when someone says, "not our problem. begone ye peasant".
Apps disappear. Vendors disappear. Password apps and “hidden photos” apps and game apps and other sorts of apps have all been vanishing for years. Some disappearances of which have caused… consternation. The folks at Apple themselves have vanished whole products too, and I’m still salty about one of those.
But…
What would you have anybody else do? Apple or otherwise. The app or the vendor wasn’t making enough money, or the app maintainer died, or the source code was lost, or whatever else happened, and things have moved on.
Got a suggestion for how to resolve these cases and to migrate or export the passwords, or export secret photos, or favorite game apps, or whatever, by all means send it to Apple: Product Feedback - Apple
Specifically for passwords, Apple is looking to migrate many use cases to passkeys. And also offers Keychain.
But if, like the OP, I have LastPass, am subscribed to it, and have no issues, why would I jump to 1Password?
Or are you saying check and see that 1Password is also removed or having issues.
I still run LastPass on all my mobile stuff as well as with Firefox on my MacMini. That it broke with Safari and then wasn't anywhere to be found in the App Store was my concern. I think it was the same with the OP.
If Apple pulled it for security reasons, I would like to see the official memos on just what security weaknesses it had.

If you have a third-party password manager that’s not working, contact the third party, or find an alternative.

It is because of the last Safari update which focused on security. My 1Password extension was also removed.
