FCPX 10.6.4 Add Freeze Frame is not working

I'm using FCPX 10.6.4 on a 2021 M1max MacBook Pro 16', When I process the video shot by GoPro10 on the timeline, and I'm trying to insert a freeze frame using Option+F, the freeze frame is not added. The clips is split into two. I've tried many times without success creating a freeze frame. But I'm using this feature on a video I've shot with my iPhone and it works fine.

My GoPro video resolution is 5120x3840, bit rate 98.96Mbps, encoded HEVC.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be going on? Any suggestions I might try to resolve this?

Thanks Reply

The gopro video frame rate 25p.

The frame rate of the project 24p.

I tried to set the frame rate of the project to the same frame rate as the video shot, and performed the Option+F operation again, and it can be used normally.

I don't know if it's a FCPX problem?
