iPhone unblocks a number on its own?

I blocked someone I didn’t want to have contact any more on my iPhone earlier this year. I happened to look at their contact in my iPhone and it said “block this caller”

did my iPhone unblock someone on its own?

There are 2 ways to block on an iPhone. One is in contacts, but you can also block numbers that are not in your contacts. Go to Settings/Phone and tap on Blocked Contacts to see numbers that you blocked.
