Posting Limits on Apple Community

Hey everyone!

I've been trying to spend more free time helping out people in the Apple Community, but I am often faced with a red "You’ve exceeded the posting limits. Please try again in a few minutes." Pop-up.

I understand the reason, but I am trying to help people and don't really want just to close the tab on a response I took 10 minutes to type out. Maybe somebody has a solution? I'm not trying to post fast. I am a low level, but I have been a member since November 2020.

It's for self-defense. Limiting time between posts was initiated about 8-10 years ago as an anti-spam measure. The forums were so flooded with advert posts for one country that the they became nearly useless.

As spammers are new users, the system placed restriction on post frequency by new users and the problem is gone. As you progress here, the time limits become more relaxed for you. I cannot tell you when that happens nor the change in time between. However, I can tell you that quality, not quantity, is the gold standard here.

That is easy for my to say. I'm such a slow typist that I never triggered the frequency alert!!
