heic format

hello, I don't want to use this format, cause I can't open them on my mac laptop.

I have not upgraded in a while, can't get a new computer, but if you just return to the jpg format, I can once again get MY pictures on MY computer. I also, tried to drag them to icloud, and even apple "products" require jpg.

please fix this.

In your iPhone's Settings/Camera/Format choose the Most Compatible option.

For those already in the HEIC format go to the App Store and download the free HEIC Converter app.

Open the app and drag and drop the HEIC files on it and they will be converted to jpeg.

I have a MacBook Pro from 2016 and I can open HEIC files in Preview. Once they're displayed in Preview, Hit Command + A to select All, then go to File | Export and the files will export the same picture files, but with a jpg extension. They will be added to the same location as the HEIC files.

I don't like the HEIC files either because they seem to take longer to open.

Hope that helps.
