Macbook Air M2 / Upgrade memory

I ordered online and delivered last month My Macbook Air M2 with 8GB memory. I just setup the OS but never used it yet. Can i upgrade my ram on my macbook air? . from 8 ram to 16 ram instead or can apple still replace it with 16GB instead?

The only way to get more RAM is to trade or sell your machine and get a new one. There is no way to upgrade RAM after purchase and has been this way since the very first MacBook Air.
