CarPlay Audio Issue

When I connect my iPhone 12 Pro Max to my Audi A3 MMI, the integrated B&O subwoofer speakers seem to stop working, it’s only when I turn the ignition off and back on that the subwoofers reactivate. This is isolated to when I connect an iPhone to my Audi A3 to use CarPlay, because if I just connect using Bluetooth, all of the speakers work as normal. I also don’t have the issue when connecting or using any other audio sources. I’ve seen a thread on here about the issue before, but there was no resolution, so I’m going to assume its a long-term iOS bug, because its been present since (at least) the last three major releases of iOS (I also had this issue with my iPhone X and iPhone 11 Pro Max).

I’m just curious to find out if anyone has found a permanent solution to CarPlay disabling subwoofers?
