iPhone 7 plus wifi settings

I am having a problem connecting to a source to send and receive emails. At home, I have the internet. The problem is when I'm elsewhere and not connected to the internet. I think I pushed some incorrect buttons.

Hi HowcanIfixthis,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

It sounds like you may not have a cellular data connection for your iPhone or maybe just the Mail app. Please see: Use cellular data on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Be sure cellular Data is enabled in  Settings > Cellular Data.
  2. Be sure Mail is switched on also in Settings > Cellular.

You'll also want to be sure you aren't seeing a "No Service" or "Searching"message: If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad.

  1. Check your coverage area
  2. Restart your iPhone or iPad
  3. Check for a Carrier Settings update
  4. Reset your Network Settings
  5. Update your iPhone or iPad
  6. Contact your carrier

Have a fantastic day!
