WIFI Calling button will NOT stay on

Hello.

My father has an Iphone X, and my mother an Iphone 7s. They recently

got an high speed internet connection, and I was trying to setup

Wifi-calling for them.

My mothers phone worked fine first try. However, on the 'Iphone X' I

am having a problem where the 'Wifi-calling' button wont stay

highlighted. I enable it, back out, check it again, and it disables

itself.

I have confirmed with their carrier Wifi-calling is available, and it

works on my mothers iphone fine in the same house-hold, and carrier. I

have tried bringing my phone into US Cellular to troubleshoot it (they

were 0 help), and say there is no problem on their end.

I have tried resetting network settings, turning off/on, hard reset,

etc. I googled, and found a few other people having similar issues, but

never a concrete fix. Nothing I do seems to work. Any advice?

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! If Wi-Fi calling will not stay enabled, we would first recommend the steps in the following article that can help:

Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling

"Get help

If you can't turn on or use Wi-Fi Calling, make sure that your carrier offers Wi-Fi Calling and that your devices have the latest software. Then, follow these steps if you can't turn on Wi-Fi Calling or make a Wi-Fi call. Wait two minutes before you go from one step to the next.

1.Go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling and make sure that Wi-Fi Calling is on.

2.Restart your iPhone.

3.Connect to a different Wi-Fi network. Not all Wi-Fi networks work with Wi-Fi Calling.

4.Turn Wi-Fi Calling off and then on again.

5.Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset, and tap Reset Network Settings."
