Loss of video signal on Apple TV 4K when switched to 4.2.2

I installed Apple TV 4K through Denon AVR. Was working, but wanted to improve picture quality. Switched Apple TV video setting to 4.2.2 and now have no video feed to tv. Audio works.


want to reset Apple TV 4K to 4.2.0 but cannot see to do it since no output to screen.


how can I reset?

• If you see […] a black screen, hold Menu and Volume Down for 6 seconds, then release. Your Apple TV will switch to a new resolution every 20 seconds. Select OK to choose a resolution or Cancel to quit.

4:2:0, 4:2:2, and 4:4:4 all give the same quality video, because all streaming video is 4:2:0 in the source file.
