Reminders not showing in notification settings

Hello I am on iOS 15.6.1 and my settings>notifications>reminders is missing. I have gone into settings then reminders to make sure all of the notifications are turned on there however when I go into settings then notifications then reminders reminders is nowhere to be found.

There was another thread about this in the spring. It was suggested to go into editing an actual reminder, and then "swipe up" and see "allow notifications". This is not helpful. I'm swiping up and not seeing anything.

It's ridiculous that reminders would not automatically give you nofitifications. What the **** is the point of having reminders?

Apple, fix this.

It seems you are very frustrated. To ensure you are receiving notifications from the Reminders app, you can first go into Sounds and Haptics and make sure that the Reminders Alerts are set to a sound instead of being set to None. Upon opening up my notification settings, I also did not have this option. I opened my reminders app, opened a reminder edit page, and turned on "Location," where it then immediately prompted me with the option to Enable Notifications. You then have the option to Allow, Allow in Summary, or Don't Allow. Once I did that, reminders are now in my notifications area in settings.
