The temporary folder of ArchiveUtility?

I tried to extract an archive, but ArchiveUtility froze, so I force-quit it. Now its temporary files are taking up a lot of space. How can I free up the space?

By viewing process hierarchy in SystemMonitor, I found that ArchiveUtility has a subprocess named shove (which seems to do the real job). By looking at its opened files, I finally found where it stored the extract results.

It's in

/private/var/folders/2s/<some seemingly random things>/T/com.apple.AUHelperService

This path may vary from device to device.

This is very confusing -- who will ever thought that AUHelper did the extracting job? It seems like something related to AudioUnit!
