Since there is no sim tray, where will the IEMI or Serial number be located?
I have always found mine in settings>general>about

When you plug it into your computer it will tell you also.
You can always view both your device’s serial number and IMEI by logging-in at https://appleid.apple.com.
Call your carrier. They won't have the serial number but they do have the IMEI.
You should be able to find the SN on the originally packaging and on the back of the device itself. This link has not yet been updated to include the iPhone 14, but the instructions should be the same:

You write it down somewhere before disaster strikes.
Or it can be on the back of the phone....

The serial number hasn't been on the SIM tray since the iPhone 4S. Only the IMEI number was on the SIM tray after that.

Unless you are in the middle of nowhere, there are other people with phones, there are landlines. In some places, there are even still pay phones.
If you should happen to be someplace, in some situation where it is absolutely impossible for you to contact anyone, what good will the serial number do?
Well we can back and forth about asking random people to help you find your serial numbe or IEMI. There should just be a place on the phone itself somewhere just like every other Apple product. Not asking random people to help you find your serial or finding a non-existent payphone.

Until the iPhone 6, Apple did put the IMEI on the back of the phone. For whatever reason, they stopped doing that. You can let them know your thoughts on the matter here:
This is only when the screen is working. Before the IEMI was in the Sim tray. No there is no Sim tray. How do you access that if your display isn't working?
I know the serial numberber isn't on the Sim tray. You can use the IEMI to get the serial number.
The serial or iemi are not on the back of the iPhone. What if you have no internet access because you only have your phone?
