Import mail option not showing up in manage domains

As per here: Import existing email messages to iCloud Mail from your custom email domain – Apple Support (UK)

Import your existing email messages later

Go to iCloud.com
Select Account Settings.
In the Custom Email Domain section, select Manage.
Select the email address you want to import mail from, scroll down and select the Import Mail button (or select the Add button to import email messages from an additional address).
Follow the onscreen instructions to sign in to your previous email account and import messages.

There is no option to import messages. There is no "Import Mail" button. Just a + to create new addresses at my custom domain.

I wish to import all of my fastmail messages.

What am I missing?

In the end, I just exported all of my fastmail. It took hours and hours. And then I was able to import it into Apple Mail on the Mac, which took a while as I remember. Honestly, it was a bit frustrating.

However, that being said: Frustration has been over since a month now. To be honest, I really am very glad that I moved from Fastmail to iCloud. Color me surprised that they offer a great email service, but they do.

So, my recommendation while you wait for an answer is: export your email and then import it into Apple Mail. it'll work even though it will take a day or so to finish everything up (well, possibly less - I have emails going back to 2003).

I have the same issue as Nat. I recently created a new custom domain email with iCloud account. I can't import my previous emails from the previous server. When I go to my account setting, I don't see "Import Mails" + Button. There is a + button but it only lets you create/add a new email using the same domain.

Is there any other way to import old emails?
