Will the IPhone 14 work in Dominican Republic if I live there and there is no SIM card now?
I LIVE IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. I USE A SIM CARD. HOW WOULD I USE THE IPHONE 14 NOW THERE BECAUSE IT HAS NO SIM CARD?

The 14s sold for your region will be fitted w/ sSIM + nanoSIM.

All 14x iPhones sold for the US market will eSIM ONLY.
While these “US” phones WILL work in DR with their eSIMS (via their carrier’s international roaming agreement) there as-yet are not any “local in DR” eSIM carriers.
OK THX. SO IF I PURCHASE IN THE US THEY ARE ALL “FITTED” WITH THIS?
Appreciate it. I’m sure the DR will figure it out along with other countries. Be safe!!
I’m confinemt that they will.
Apple often “prods” technological change, IMO this is just one more instance.
FYI, eSIMS have been running here on the US for about four years.
