For some reason today my iPhone 10 default browser switched from Safari to DuckDuckGo and can’t change it back.

The default browser or the browser search engine? DuckDuckGo is a search engine. Have you try going to Settings/Safari/Search Engine and see if you can reset the search engine there? Tap on the one you want.

I’ve done as you’ve advised many times…here are the search engines that show up on my list…
DuckDuckGo
Yahoo
ine or two others…
wish Safari had shown up… then I wudda checked it and been back in business.
safari doesn’t show up as one if the options.
Have I been hacked?
If Eric’s advice doesn’t help, and you have the DuckDuckGo browser installed, please check:
Settings - DuckDuckGo - Default Browser App = ???
Safari is not a search engine. While it can be selected as your default browser, it has never been an option for your search engine.
