Need to clear up my MacBook Pro ASAP

I’m not very savvy when it comes to any of this yech stuff and I just got off the phone with someone that usually is able to help guide me Thru however this time it looks deeper than usual. I need to cleanup/delete some things to get it back running properly .

Start from the beginning and describe what's wrong with your Mac.

If (for example) it is occasionally unresponsive or just running poorly, please determine if the same problems occur in "Safe Mode": How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support.

If something else is wrong though, by all means describe what it is.
