Unable to add location exception for AirTag separation alert

I keep getting an error saying “Unable to Add Location: There was an error adding this location” when I try to add a location to the exception list for an AirTag under Find My

I was able to resolve the issue by upgrading to iOS16

Find My exceptions for AirTags not Working - Apple Not Helping I am not able to set an exception for my air tags. I have a pack of 4 airtags sets and same problem occurs for all of them. I have some other airtags, but I can set exceptions for them. Several time I’ve gone through the steps to add an exception, but every time I get the same error message: “Unable to add location: There was an error adding this location” My phone is updated. I’ve turned my phone off and back on, resetted the airtags and done everything recommended. I reached apple support via chat and phone but nobody seems to care, understand or is willing to help.

AirTag not appearing in 'Items' on Find My app despite connecting and showing correct location I've reset the air tag multiple times, new battery, etc. Every thing I've read here so far. And it connects, it shows the correct location and then when I go to find the air tag in the Find My app, there is ZERO "items". This is maddening. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
