How to restore saved data on maps

Around the same time the new ios15 update came out, I noticed that all of my favorited locations and the guides I’ve created on maps are no longer on my phone. I didn’t pay much attention to it bc later it came back, but now they’re all gone again and want to know how to get them back.

I haven’t backed up my phone in years so that’s not an option btw.

This has nothoing to do with the iOS updates.

Have you changed your Apple ID on the device?
Have you changed your Region on the device?
Have you reset your device to factory Settings?
What other than the iOS update have you changed in your device?

Before it went missing my phone was really full on storage and I started deleting almost all of my downloaded music and photos which were the ones taking up all my space.

The only other difference since is that I’ve recently subscribed to a vpn but the data was already missing before I started using it.
