No clear instructions on typing superscripts or subscripts in iOS Apps

Sorry, my reference to Character Viewer in my previous post was erroneous, as that is not available on the iPad, only on a Mac.

On an iPad you need to get an app like UnicodePad which will let you access Unicode subscripts. Or you can copy/paste them from the web into a text replacement.

You need to contact the people who make those apps to ask them to add support for subscripts.

You can also input Unicode subscripts via the Character Viewer (edit/emoji and symbols). Try typing "subscript" into the search field.

If you have Unicode character issues with a Meta app such as Facebook app (and that claims Unicode support), best contact Meta support and report the mishandling.
