MacBook Pro serial number for trade in

Hi there! I was trying to put the serial number of my mac for trade in and it wouldnt work. Is there a reason why? Please help me. Thank you :)

Apple does not use Letter O in their Serial Numbers

zero 0 / letter o or O

If it is relatively new Mac you are trading, then it may not be eligible for trade in or the site has not been update yet because of its age.
