Backup with a broken screen
How am I supposed to do a backup when I can’t see what I’m doing? (they recommend it prior to a repair.)
It is literally only my screen that is broken, is it still likely they will wipe my MacBook?
MacBook Pro 13″, 12.4

Plug in an external monitor.
If you already have a current backup— then your bases are covered.
If you value your user data— do not wait for a catestrophic failure of some sort to get the back-up religion.
3-2-1 Backup Strategy: three copies of your data, two different methods, and one offsite.
More than one device, more than one backup methodology.
