If I buy iPhone 14 Pro in the US, will it work with Orange carrier in France?

I'm going to buy a 14Pro and I currently have a US cell plan and a french one with Orange which supports e-sims it seems. If I buy the phone in US, what do I have to do when I arrive in France? Go into Orange and have them add my french phone number there? I only want to use one account at a time depending on what country I'm in

The OP is already aware that Orange does in fact support eSIM.

It can be verified by going to this site.

The answer is simple. An iPhone 14 bought in the U.S. does not have a physical SIM card tray. When you get to France if Orange does not support eSIM then you can’t use that account in France. This not an Apple thing. This is between you and Orange.

What you should do, of course, is to call Orange ahead of time and ask them if they support eSIM and what you need to do to activate it in France. Better to be prepared instead of disappointed art the last minute.
