When using the wallet do you first use face ID or after the charge
Just set up apple wallet and have face ID set up. When using the wallet feature do you scan the credit card and when you use face ID before or after

Not sure what you mean by "scan the credit card"
If you have cards already setup in your wallet, when you double-click the side button your wallet will open and the iPhone will scan your face to unlock/verify then you just hold your phone near the reader. If the default card is not the one you want to use, you can select another card by tapping on the stack of cards at the bottom of the wallet and select another card.
