How to exclude photos from a backup on PC? I do not have iCloud either and wish to manually turn off syncing of photos from iPhone to PC.
Essentially I just want to backup all elements of phone without pictures included.

You cannot selectively control what is included in an iOS device backup, although encrypted backups do include a little more information. See Backup methods for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support for details. Short of exporting and then deleting all the photos in your camera roll there is no way to backup the device without backing up the photos. Photos synced to the device from your computer shouldn't be included.
