In The Canada Apple WebSite when i am PreOrdering a Iphone 14 Pro Max it does not ask on witch phone carrier i want the phone to work with….. like in the USA website it ask if i want it for Sprint, ATT, Verizon, T Mobile or Unlocked
are all iphone 14 pro max in canada apple website unlocked or what??
please advise

Look a bit more carefully at the U.S. model of the iPhone 14. There is no SIM card tray in this model, so you would not want to try to compare the U.S. version to the Canadian version.
The iPhone 14 will be unlocked if you purchase the iPhone from Apple in Canada. If your carrier supports eSIM, great. If not, you will need a SIM card for the carrier of your choice.

I have been assured by USA based colleagues on here that your statement is not true. They are only locked in USA if you get them on finance thru a provider. In any case you can request a phone not provisioned by any company.
If Apple.com in Canada has no provider selection then which provider would you imagine it would be locked to?
As my learned colleague states above, all iPhones sold on the Apple site in Canada are unlocked. It has been illegal to sell a carrier locked phone in Canada since December 2018.
Sounds like it is in the UK.

If in Apple Canada WebSite there is no carrier selection, then it would be Unlocked

And since i do not see the Carrier selection in Apple Website of Canada
This is why i want clarification to know if in Canada Apple Website the iPhone 14 Pro Max i order will be Unlocked for any Carrier
