i bought the macbook air m2 and the lady that helped ask if im a student so i said yes and she checked my i.d for verification and she said she's gonna charged me for education discount and when im about to pay and gave me the 210$ gift card. so the next day i checked the receipt she charged me for the original price and when i checked the balance of the gift card it says invalid. so do i get refund if i went back to apple store?

Then you can contact the store once again and ask them, if the response was not clear try reporting to the manager of the store, they will sure fix this issue
You can go back to the specific apple store and request them the reason of price change, they may update you, if still they not providing you the proper response get connected with apple official support at Apple Support
I already talked to apple support and the guy that helped me said he doesn't work at the apple store so he can't help me
