Hey, JuicyMacintosh. We’re glad to get Safari tabs sharing correctly between your Mac and iPhone!
The first thing to check is that your iPhone and Mac are fully up to date. The current macOS version for macOS Monterey is macOS 15.6. And iOS 16 became available a few days ago. Here are the steps to update both devices:
- Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support
- Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support -- With this update, if your iPhone isn’t currently on iOS 15.7, you may see both iOS 15.7 and iOS 16 offered. Select iOS 16.
If the closed tabs on your iPhone still appear on your Mac, please turn off your iPad before continuing so we can focus on your iPhone and Mac.
Next, turn Safari tabs off on both your iPhone and Mac then shut down both devices:
Use tabs in Safari on iPhone - Apple Support
Use tabs for webpages in Safari on Mac - Apple Support
Restart your iPhone first and make sure only the tabs that should be open are opened. After you’ve check, restart your Mac, give Safari tabs time to sync, then see if the issue’s resolved.
Please let us know the results when you're able.
All the best.
