How can I get tech support for my 5th Gen iPod?

My 5th gen iPod classic ( model A1136 - 30 GB) screen comes on intermittently and when on, displays "www.apple.com/support/ipod". Anyone can help me understand what the issue is and how to get this iPod fixed? It is in great condition otherwise (almost looks brand new).

That would suggest you have a dead battery and/or it isn't charging properly. You might check the docking port for fluff, or try another cable. Charge from the originally supplied adaptor or a standard USB port. Other chargers may try to deliver too much current, which will stop the device from charging at all.

If/when you can get it to accept enough charge to run the display see Corrupt iPod Classic - Apple Community and try to obtain the HDD stats. The original message usually indicates a failed drive, but could potentially show when there isn't enough power to start it up properly.
