Change the location of the lock screen time widget on iOS 16?

You can just tap on the widget when on the screen of adding or removing widget and it should let you choose the city of your choice

I did, still having only Cupertino as time, just can't change it, will take it off, would have been nice having the time from my family in Germany too

Navigate to the lock screen again and hold down on it in order to customize. Tap on the clock widget. When the minus sign appears on the clock widget, tap on it, but don’t long press it. In the next screen you can enter your city.

When I deep press on just the clock, it brings up edit widget, then the city I have is there and to change the city put your cursor there to start typing or view other cities that will come up. (Mine is on the Home Screen)

if the option is just not there when you long press the home screen widget then select “exit stack” then long press the clock app — whence it should appear in its orange glory — if it does NOT, make sure you are not connected to your vehicle. I was sitting in a parking lot wirh the car and utilities OFF, but it STILL “bugged” out and refused to allow me access. Once unplugged it immediately corrected with no action on my end save for repeating the process of entering the stack edit functionality and pressing on the clock.

this was SO baffling to me that once the screen DID pop up I was left a bit in shock wondering what had just happened.

I was tipped off about this by a now locked/archived thread where someone asked if the user had an “external monitor” and that *immediately* sent bells off about my usb-c cord being in use.

Tried everything, but widget clock will not change location, don't even have Cupertino as location on my time zone list.

I'm pressing on the widget, it opens the list of cities available, but I can not select one.

When I try to enter the name of the actual town that I live in, I get no results either. I live in a suburb of a major city, so I have to use that city.

choose the largest city near you, that’s in the same time zone.

It works a little differently on the Lock Screen and that’s what the OP was asking about.

Thanks. I realized that after posting my reply, so I edited in that it was my Home Screen.

When I follow this procedure, I get a search box and a preset list of cities. My city is not on this list, and when I search for it, it says, "no results found." How do I display my "ACTUAL" location, not that of a city I don't live in? What am I missing here?
