Moving widgets around on Lock Screen iOS 16

is there a way I can move my 2 widgets on the Lock Screen so they are not covering my children’s face in picture? Also how come when you add widgets it doesn’t let you have the depth effect on?

Widgets on iphone, restricted to where I can place them, not free form like on Android... I guess you just can't put a widget wherever you like on my new iPhone as in drag and drop anywhere on screen, correct? I have a lock screen and want to put text in a certain place on photo so it does not block out face. So I assume I will have to just edit the photo wallpaper and add the text where I want, save photo and then use the altered photo. Is this correct? The "Any Tex"t widget did not allow me to put their widgets any where on lock screen. It had a fixed place and size. Thanks for confirmation or advice. Sincerely Peter

Home screen Customization Are there any plans for a future iOS update that would allow widgets to be freely placed on the home screen, rather than being locked to specific positions? Specifically: Small widgets: The ability to position them in the center of the screen, allowing apps to outline them, instead of being limited to six preset spots. Medium widgets: The option to place them freely, including allowing apps to appear both above and below, rather than being restricted to three positions. Large widgets: The ability to center them on the screen, with apps positioned both above and below, rather than being confined to just two locations.
