iMessage won’t work after getting new sim

i got a new sim card and tranfered my number to it. Now it won’t connect to my imessage. My number is in “send and receive” tab in messaged but i cannot connect it.

We understand that iMessage is not activating on your iPhone. Follow the steps below to help correct the issue.


  1. Give activation 48 hours to complete
  2. Check your device settings
  3. Turn off and restart iMessage and FaceTime


Be sure to follow all the steps in this article: If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime
