Voice Messages missing from iOS 16 keyboard

I think Apple probably changed it because a lot of people didn’t realise under the old system that you could swipe up to continue recording.

But to note with the new system, you don’t have to tap and hold to record. You tap once to record, then tap again to stop, at which point you get the option to review the message, send it, or delete it.

If you press and hold to record, it sends the message straight away when you release, rather than giving you the options above.

I did chat & call in. They said there is no change in the forecast. So they said to put it in apple.com/feedback. So I did.

Someone at Apple has nothing better to do and tinkering perfectly working feature, instead of one click to send voice messages, now it’s 3 clicks before a voice message is sent. Under Steve Jobs, the engineer may have lose his job, they are not thinking in terms of how people send voice messages, it’s going backward, really silly in my view, if there is a place where I can complaint to Apple I would.

I also have the same thing.

I don’t wanna click twice to send a voice message in messages.

Being dyslexic and clicking button, after button, sometimes could be confusing.

And if I have to click open another line to then click another voice message then click record, that’s three clicks just do the same thing I could do with one click.

I hope this is the way to put it back if somebody wants!
