Apple Watch unpaired after iOS 16 update

Yesterday Night new ios 16 installed in my iphone xr and when i trying to connect my apple watch it wasn’t connecting.

it takes me to start of process as we get at time of buying new watch.

while pairing its asked me to update the new softwar of 8.7.1 without updating it I am not able to pair.

i have tried to download software many times but after downloading at preparing stage it get stuck and bring me to the start again process.
