Hello MichelleHF,
Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with locating archived Mail. Is this for iCloud Mail? If so, are you able to see the folder on the iCloud website? If so, this reference will help you locate it: Archive email in Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support
"You can move messages to the Archive folder to help keep your inbox from getting too cluttered. Unlike messages you move to the Trash, archived messages remain in your Archive folder until you delete them. You can view the Archive folder in the Mailboxes list.
To quickly move messages to the Archive folder, you can replace the Delete button with the Archive button in Mail Preferences."
We hope this helps.
Cheers!
I am trying to change or choose name for @icloud.com account but received message cannot complete try again and I do and keep getting the try again message. What’s wrong? What can I do? I want an account so I can create iCloud folder in email to archive documents
Hey there MichelleHF,
It sounds like you attempted to follow the steps we previously shared, but you do not currently have an iCloud email address.
The guide we've linked below will show you how to get things set up.
Create a primary email address for iCloud Mail
If you were originally looking for the Archive folder for an email account other than iCloud, you may want to refer to the support options offered by that email provider.
Have a good one!
I can’t get @icloud.com to open. I tried to get a I’d for it, but had no luck. I don’t know if I already have a cloud I’d. if I do how do I find out what it is? If not, why can’t I name iCloud.com account?
After naming my @icloud.com I an told NEXT, after I select that, I am told “problem turning on mail “ “try again “, so I do and this goes on over and over. So I can’t select Turn on iCloud mail. Now what should I do?
